Consistency
Consistency is something that I can struggle with and I find myself having trouble with. I am really good on being something for about 1-3 weeks max and then somewhere in between there or after the 3 weeks I tend to fall off and make an error and find myself messing up or not doing as good as I should be doing in that certain task. Usually I found myself struggling with school as you have seen if you've read my previous blogs. In the previous blogs I've talked about time management in my life and dealing with schoolwork or assignments. I was doing very good and was on my stuff but recently this week my streak so to say stopped. I completely forgot about some assignments and didn't complete them on time. This affected my grades in two classes. I find myself in a way of going through phases, as in I'm really consistent with something for a while but then stop and then hop back on it when something begins to go bad. I sometimes tend to focus to much on my future and lose track on my present with school. I've realized this past week that I need to prioritize my school work first. Meaning over money, fun, friends, and even family. Its token me a while to realize why I'm in school and acknowledge the privilege I have to be here and be majoring in something and make something out of it in my future. But I've realized I need to focus on the present which is getting my stuff together and do this school thing for these next 4-5 years. Comment below if you can relate or have any comments in mind thanks!!

I know getting off your grind is easy, trust. But at the end of the day what matters is that as soon as you realize that you're going on to your old ways, you jump right back on track. Its not hard to get back on track, because you know how to do what you're doing. what's hard is finding the motivation. For most of us, the motivation is making someone proud even if it's ourselves.
ReplyDeleteI swear I fall off after a few days, it can be so hard to stay on track. You seem like someone who always has it together.
